The local chapter of the FDP aims to strengthen the political center through clear and reliable policies. Norderney is full of chances and opportunities. We want to seize them and take action.

We are not guided by the fear of having to make decisions; instead, we call upon politicians and the administration to have the courage to make decisions for the future, thereby enabling the best for the islanders!

As liberals, we practice a practical attitude toward our fellow human beings—namely, tolerance toward different opinions, lifestyles, and sexual orientations. We always grant others the same freedoms that we claim for ourselves.

The liberal idea calls for an economic system in which people, goods, money, and services move without being excessively regulated by authorities, states, and bureaucracies. We take responsibility for ourselves and always allow others the space for self-fulfillment.

We are the party of freedom.
